The Saratov region continues to demonstrate good results in the agricultural sector. According to data announced today by Governor Roman Busargin, agricultural enterprises in the region have already harvested 3 million tons of grain, which is 70% of the planned grain harvest.
Several districts of the region demonstrate particularly impressive grain collection indicators. In the top five in terms of volumes of harvested crops:
- Ekaterinovsky district - 169 thousand tons,
- Pugachevsky district - 148 thousand tons,
- Ershovsky district - 147 thousand tons,
- Balashovsky district - 143 thousand tons,
- Kalininsky district - 141 thousand tons.
These areas not only exceeded the grain harvest plan, but also continue to actively participate in other areas of agriculture. In addition to winter grain crops, farmers in the region harvest crops such as safflower, chickpeas, lentils, mustard, as well as potatoes, vegetables and melons.
The excellent results of the harvesting campaign indicate the high level of training and professionalism of farmers in the Saratov region. Governor Roman Busargin noted that the region still remains one of the leaders in the agricultural sector of Russia, confirming its status as one of the key producers of agricultural products in the country.
The harvesting campaign continues, and in the coming weeks a further increase in the harvest is expected, which will allow the region to significantly strengthen its position in the agricultural market.
