Farmers of the Saratov region have completed harvesting winter crops 2023

Harvesting of winter crops has been successfully completed in the Saratov region. As a result, 3577.2 thousand tons of winter crops were harvested from an area of ​​1211.4 hectares with an average yield of 29.5 c/ha. Information about this was confirmed by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the region Igor Gridnev.
The 2023 harvest campaign brought the following results: 3,414.7 thousand tons of winter wheat, 158.7 thousand tons of winter rye and 3.9 thousand tons of triticale were collected.
The process of harvesting spring crops is still ongoing. As of September 5, 789.5 thousand hectares (70.1%) have already been threshed, and 1,227 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops have been harvested with a yield of 15.5 c/ha. The leaders in the pace of cleaning are Khvalynsky, Tatishchevsky, Rivne, Sovetsky and Novouzensky municipal districts.
To carry out these works, 2,227 units of threshing equipment were involved.
In addition to harvesting, farms carry out filling seeds of winter crops, plowing ploughland, preparing feed and sowing winter crops at the same time.
