Atkar grain growers collected 100 thousand tons of grain

Farmers of the Atkarsky district have reached an important milestone in the 2024 harvest campaign, harvesting the first 100 thousand tons of grain from the new harvest. This result indicates a successful start to the season and the well-coordinated work of local grain growers.

To date, 40.9 thousand hectares have already been threshed, which is almost 70% of the planned area. The gross grain harvest in the region exceeded 106 thousand tons with an average yield of 21.6 centners per hectare. Despite the vagaries of the weather and possible difficulties, the farmers of the Atkar region demonstrate high efficiency and professionalism.

The successes of Atkar grain growers make a significant contribution to the overall result of the Saratov region. The region is confidently approaching a gross grain harvest of 3 million tons. At the moment, 2.7 million tons of grains and legumes have already been harvested. This is an impressive figure, confirming the status of the Saratov region as one of the leading agricultural regions of Russia.

The results achieved are the result of the joint work of farmers, the use of modern technologies and government support for agriculture.
