This spring in the Saratov region, the sowing of spring crops increased by 11.2%

Spring field work in the Saratov region is gaining momentum. The press service of the regional governor reports this.

This year, agricultural producers in the region sowed 320 thousand hectares of spring crops, which is 11.2% more than the plan. A fifth of all grains have already been sown (222 thousand hectares).

In total, this spring it is planned to sow 2.8 million hectares of spring crops. The goal is to achieve a 2022 harvest of six million tons of grain.
