The Saratov region continues to confirm its leadership in agriculture, especially in terms of grain harvest. In the Volga Federal District, the region ranks first in terms of the volume of grain collected. At the moment, agricultural enterprises have already harvested 4.6 million tons of grain crops, which is 80% of the total sown area. Particularly impressive is the harvesting percentage of winter crops, which reached 99%.
Currently, agricultural producers have begun harvesting sugar beets and continue to actively collect vegetables and potatoes. In addition, sowing of winter crops has already begun in 30 districts of the region.
This indicates the high efficiency and organization of agricultural enterprises in the Saratov region, which are successfully coping with the task of ensuring food security in the region.
