Saratov farmers are breaking harvest records

Саратовские аграрии бьют рекорды по сбору урожая

The harvesting campaign in the Saratov region is in full swing, and we can already say that it will be a record-breaking one. This year the harvest began earlier than usual, and farmers collected more than 1.5 million tons of grain.

Governor Roman Busargin visited the fields of the Rtishchevsky district to assess the pace of harvesting. He met with machine operators, learned how the work was going, and emphasized the importance of government support for agricultural producers. This year, 3 billion rubles have been allocated to support farmers, and more than half of this amount has already been allocated to farmers.

The governor paid special attention to the peasant farm of Nikolai Prokofiev. This farm actively supports Russian military personnel by sending them humanitarian supplies to the zone of special military operation.

“Nikolai Prokofiev is a true patriot who cares not only about the food security of the region and the country, but also about the defenders of the Motherland,” noted Roman Busargin in his Telegram channel.

Prokofiev's peasant farm sowed 864 hectares of winter wheat, 90 hectares of spring wheat, 450 hectares of barley, 160 hectares of peas, 100 hectares of corn and 1200 hectares of sunflower this year. More than half of the winter wheat harvest has already been harvested.

A successful harvesting campaign in the Saratov region is the result of joint efforts of farmers and government support. This not only ensures food security in the region, but also strengthens the spirit of patriotism.
