The 2023 grain harvest in the Saratov region exceeded 5.3 million tons

At the last meeting, which was chaired by Governor Roman Busargin, information was presented on the work carried out to harvest grain crops in the Saratov region. According to the press service, 5.3 million tons of grain were harvested, which is 95% of the total planted area.

These data indicate that the Saratov region continues to be the leader in the Volga Federal District in terms of grain yields. Cleaning has been completed in several areas, including Sovetsky, Fedorovsky, Ozinsky, Pitersky, Ershovsky, Tatishchevsky and Novouzensky.

Currently, sunflower harvesting is actively underway, and it is encouraging that the pace of work exceeds last year’s figures and has reached 54% of the plan. This is a positive trend that allows us to hope for good results in this industry.
