In the Saratov region they began to sow wheat

The sowing season has begun in the Saratov region. As of April 12, 35 municipal districts of the region were actively involved in seasonal field work, as reported by Svetich news agency, citing information provided by the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture.
In 34 districts, work is underway to fertilize winter crops. By this date, 303 thousand hectares were fed, which is 36% of the planned volume.
In 25 regions, work has begun to seal off moisture from plowed snow and black vapors. These works were carried out on an area of ​​175 thousand hectares, which corresponds to 5% of the total plan. Harrowing of winter crops is underway in 12 districts; 51 thousand hectares have been harrowed.
Agrarians of the Petrovsky district have begun selective sowing. 500 hectares of durum wheat have already been sown.
