288.6 thousand tons of grain were threshed in the region

Farms in 29 districts of the region harvest winter crops. According to operational data from the regional Ministry of Agriculture as of July 21, 97.2 thousand hectares were harvested, or 7.9% of the plan. The gross harvest with an average yield of 29.9 c/ha amounted to 290.8 thousand tons.

“In the right-bank regions, the highest yields were noted in Rtishchevsky (50 c/ha), Kalininsky (40 c/ha), Novoburassky (39.9 c/ha) municipal districts, in the left bank - in Pugachevsky (47.5 c/ha) and Sovetsky (39.4 c/ha),” said Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government - Minister of Agriculture of the region Roman Kovalsky.

To date, 96.2 thousand hectares (8.3%) of winter wheat have been threshed. With an average yield of 30.0 c/ha, 288.6 thousand tons of grain were threshed.
