The 2021 harvesting campaign is ending in the Saratov region.
To date, 3560.7 thousand tons of grain have been threshed from an area of 2099.5 thousand hectares (96% of the plan).
Agricultural producers in the region are actively harvesting corn from their fields. 117.9 thousand hectares were harvested (61% of the plan). With an average yield of 44.5 c/ha, the gross harvest is 524.4 thousand tons. The leaders are Balashovsky (64.1 thousand tons), Turkovsky (55.0 thousand tons), Samoilovsky and Kalininsky (48.9 thousand tons each) municipal districts.
The highest yield was obtained in Turkovsky - 91.7 c/ha, Balashovsky - 68.0 c/ha, Marksovsky - 62.7 and Rtishchevsky - 60.0 districts of the region.
Astarta-Agrotrading purchases corn from agricultural producers at a price of 15.0-15.5 rubles/ton (as of 10.26.2021). Purchase conditions and pricing are negotiated individually.
